Tensions are rising in the Strait of Hormuz after Donald Trump accused Iran of targeting commercial vessels during the ongoing naval operation known as “Project Freedom.”

According to Trump, Iranian forces fired at ships from unrelated nations, including a vessel from South Korea. The US military also reportedly engaged and shot down multiple fast boats in the area.
