USA's Rafael Scott entered the men's 60-meter dash final with the fastest qualifier from day one. He emerged as the champion in the finals as he crossed the line with a time of 6.67 seconds, besting both Jeryl Brazil of UL Lafayette and Jaylen Bacon of A-State in the process. Brazil and Bacon finished with identical times of 6.70 seconds.
