And this is one of those instances.</p><br /><p>Maneena Roberts was watching her son play in the grand final match with the Noosa Lions Football Club in Queensland when a koala suddenly streaked across the pitch as the teams were set to resume the match that went into overtime on September 9.</p><p>Roberts said the match was intense as fans cheered on their teams, but that the serious mood immediately dissipated as soon as the curious koala came strolling about.</p><br /><p>“It lightened the whole crowd … everyone was laughing and enjoying the koala,” Roberts told Storyful. It has indeed been a wonderful year for her. In fact, incredible may not just be enough descriptor for how great 2024 shaped up for her. But, okay, let’s settle with ‘amazing’. And because Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is more than amazing, she closed the season just as remarkably.

After breaking her record in the 400-meter hurdles for the fifth consecutive time and anchoring Team USA to a win in the women’s 4 by 400 relay at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She still was not content to end the season on that note. Instead, she aimed to improve her personal bests in the 200-meter and 400-meter events. #sydneymclaughlin #trackandfield #femkebol
