Quincy Jones was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after suffering a medical emergency.<br /><br />The multi-Grammy Award winner, 90, had a “bad reaction to some food he ate,” his rep told TMZ Sunday.<br /><br />“Out of an abundance of caution he called 911 for help,” the spokesperson added.<br /><br />Paramedics were called to Jones’ Los Angeles home and they transported him to the emergency room.<br /><br />The music producer’s rep noted that he never lost consciousness and was in “great spirits” by the time he was given the all-clear by doctors.<br /><br />Page Six has also reached out to Jones’ reps for comment, but did not immediately hear back.<br /><br />The famed composer has had his fair share of health issues through the years.<br /><br />
